Our commitments
- 1% of revenue, 1% of engineering time and 1% of equity pledged to the Foundation.
- Every grant is reviewed by an independent committee with no operating-company voting rights.
- Grant outcomes and spend are published in an annual impact report.
- Software built through Foundation grants is released under permissive open-source licences wherever possible.
